Finally, we got official news – not leaked – from Google regarding the upcoming Pixel 8 phone, hours after announcing the launch date of the iPhone 15!
Literally, this is what happened, as we are used to, there is nothing left but to buy the phone before announcing it, due to the non-stop leaks of the phone.
Google announced today, by sending invitations to a number of journalists to attend its conference, about the date of the next conference, which will be held on October 4 in Mountain View, California.
During the conference, Google is expected to announce a host of new products and features, including:
Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro phones
Google is expected to unveil the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro phones at its next conference. Certainly, the two new phones will outperform the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro phones in terms of specifications and features, as they will work with the second generation Google Tensor processor, and they will contain OLED screens with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and improved cameras.
Pixel Buds Pro 2
Google also plans to launch the second generation of Pixel Buds Pro headphones, which are known as Pixel Buds Pro 2, at the upcoming conference. It is expected that the Pixel Buds Pro 2 headphones will come with a new design, with improvements in sound quality and battery life.
Pixel Watch 2
The Pixel Watch is the first smart watch from Google, and it is expected that it will also be announced at its upcoming conference. The device is expected to come with a stylish design and an updated Wear OS operating system.
New features for Android 13
Finally, it is expected that Google will announce a set of new features for the Android 13 operating system at its upcoming conference, although this has already been done at the developer event that was held last June – Google I / O, but there is no objection to adding more features to the system. These features are expected to include improvements to the user interface, and new privacy and security features.
Other than all of this, many are anticipating Google’s announcement of its first foldable phone, which was called the Pixel Fold, following how Google uses the name of its devices.
Until this moment, none of the previous devices has been officially confirmed, and the company has not included any other names in the lawsuit that was sent to journalists, such as announcing Nest devices, Google Home, or others, but they remain devices that may be announced.
